WASHINGTON, April 25 (KUNA) -- A man who is suspected of shooting two officers at a Home Depot in Dallas, Texas was taken into custody late Tuesday after a high-speed chase, according to local news sources.
The two officers were critically wounded and an employee was shot but their condition is unknown, said Dallas Police on Twitter.
The suspect was identified as Armando Juarez, 29, according to Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall during a press conference.
Juarez had fled the scene in a white pickup truck before being spotted in the southeast side of the city before the chase. A female passenger who was in the vehicle with him was also taken into custody.
Hall added that the officers and the employee have both undergone surgeries. (end)
