Kuwaiti Minister of Information Mohammad Al-Jabri meets with his visiting Bahraini counterpart Ali Al-Rumaihi
KUWAIT, April 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Information Mohammad Al-Jabri on Sunday met with his visiting Bahraini counterpart Ali Al-Rumaihi on distinguished and firm brotherly relations in all areas.
During the meeting, Al-Jabri, who doubles as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, highly commended Bahrain's cultural heritage and media development, according to a press release of the Ministry of Information.
He also thanked the Bahraini guest for having accepted the invitation to visit Kuwait to participate in the Arab Media Forum held here on April 22-23, it said.
The minister highly commended the political leadership's support for media and culture just out of belief in the freedom of opinion and responsible thought that only targets progress and development.
On the forum, Al-Jabri said the event discuses major media subjects and matters, mainly news-making and news sources. (end)
