Masked gunmen kill Palestinian activist in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (KUNA) -- Masked gunmen killed Saturday a Palestinian activist in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, said a security source.
According to the Kuala Lumpur police, Dr. Fadi Al-Batsh, 35, was gunned down while emerging from a mosque earlier today.
The police revealed that Dr. Al-Batsh was killed on the spot, adding that investigations on the matter will continue.
The slain Palestinian was a lecturer at the university level in Malaysia and was also active in charities dedicated to lifting the plight of the Palestinian people. (end) aab.gta
