Tunisia chosen as next venue for 30th Arab Summit

DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia, April 15 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud announced Sunday that Tunisia would chair the 30th Arab Summit to be held in the future after the conclusion of the current event held in the eastern Saudi city of Dhahran.
Delivering a speech to the 29th Arab Summit, also known as the "Jerusalem Summit", Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi thanked the Saudi monarch and the summit's participants for their trust in Tunisia and affirmed that his country would do its best to host the grand event.
The 29th Arab summit was inaugurated earlier on by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and was attended by a variety of Arab leaders, heads of delegations, as well as regional and international figures. (end) gta
