Saudi Arabia condemns anew "Houthi-Iranian" attack on oil tanker

RIYADH, April 10 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia's Cabinet on Tuesday vociferously deplored what it termed a "Houthi-Iranian" attack targeting a Saudi oil tanker in a key Yemeni port city.
The Saudi-led Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen announced last week that it had thwarted a "Houthi-Iranian" attack on a Saudi oil tanker in international waters west of the Red Sea port of Hodeidah.
In its weekly session, the Saudi executive body said that Yemen's Houthi militias should be held accountable for crimes that represent infractions of international law.
Meanwhile, it deplored in equal measure Israel's continued transgressions in Jerusalem's sacrosanct Al-Aqsa mosque, stressing that the Kingdom fully supports the Palestinians' aspirations of statehood.
The Saudi Cabinet went on to voice concern over a reported deadly gas attack in the Syrian city of Douma, in which dozens of innocent civilians were killed, including women and children.
It also gave the thumbs up to a deal over carbon management between Saudi Arabia and the United States. (end) mdm.nam
