Israeli artillery fire at Gaza Strip borders

GAZA, March 25 (KUNA) -- The Israeli artillery targeted Gaza Strip borders and a location for Palestinian factions east of Gaza on Sunday.
Palestinian media outlets said Israeli tanks were shelling a location east of Gaza that belong to Izz-Edin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
Meanwhile, Israeli media outlets said that the Israeli army intercepted a number of missiles fired from Gaza targeting Israeli settlements.
In early hours today, Al-Qassam has been conducting military drills targeting the sea area, and sounds of bombing were heard from various parts of the city.
However, Al-Qassam Brigades has also denied targeting Israeli cities, and blaming the Israeli occupation for any aggression.
In a press release, the spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obaida said "Israeli occupation is dishonest and blundering, we did not fire any missile toward (Israel) this evening." The spokesman added that the Israeli occupation forces is fully responsible for any aggression or escalation, adding they will not sit tight if any aggression occurs. (end) wab.mb
