GCC condemns Alexandria's attack

RIYADH, March 24 (KUNA) -- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani condemned an attack on Egyptian city of Alexandria which killed a policeman and injured many others on Saturday.
Al-Zayani said this despicable terrorist crime ran counter to human and moral principles and values.
He added in a statement he was fully confident the Egyptian security forces would arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Al-Zayani extended condolences to the family of the victim and wished speedy recovery for the wounded.
Egyptian interior ministry said a policeman was killed and four others injured in a bomb explosion that targeted a senior officer in Alexandria. (end) mdm.bs
