Trump condemns "horrible attack" in S. France

WASHINGTON, March 24 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump condemned Saturday the "horrible attack" in southern France on Friday.
Trump said in a tweet "our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the horrible attack in France yesterday, and we grieve the nation's loss.
"We also condemn the violent actions of the attacker and anyone who would provide him support," he stressed.
He affirmed "we are with you Emmanuel Macron!" Up to four people were killed, in addition to the terrorist who was killed by police inside a supermarket where the terrorist held hostages. The so-called Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack that also left 16 injured. (end) si.sd
