DGCA Director General Eng, Yusuf Al-Fawzan attends "Airport Carnival 2018"
KUWAIT, March 22 (KUNA) -- Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday opened the first "Airport Carnival" with participation of several government agencies and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) for Kuwaiti youth.
"Airport Carnival 2018" is a distinctive idea that brings together all the agencies operating at the Kuwait International Airport," said DGCA Director General Eng, Yusuf Al-Fawzan.
Touring the exhibition, Al-Fawzan thanked the organizing committee of the three-day event, specially the Interior Ministry's Kuwait Aviation Safety Department (KASD) and the VIP Protection Department.
The first day of the Carnival offered air and military band shows, popular and recreational contests, and sports and social activities.
More activities are on the agenda of the second and third day, a walkathon, a bike race, and entertainment and heritage shows. (end)
