Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah during parliament's regular session
KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, on Tuesday, stressed the importance of issuing parliamentary legislations and regulations that would limit reckless driving and decrease accidents.
The Ministry and National Assembly's cooperation on this matter is needed to successfully enact laws concerning this matter of great importance, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah said in parliament's regular session in response to a question on the number of injuries and deaths caused by traffic accidents over the past five years.
Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah said that the ministry is keen on publishing the annual statistics on the number of casualties due to traffic accidents in an effort to create data that would help in finding a solution to the problem. (end)
