Company awarded East Tima housing project

KUWAIT, March 19 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) on Monday announced awarding tender for East Tima project for those who have sold their houses to a local-international company.
The project, forecast to be executed in 913 days, envisages building and maintaining 509 houses, along with roads, infrastructural facilities, parking lots and power stations projected to occupy 372,945 square kilometers of land, the PAHW said in a statement.
It will be for citizens, entitled according to the Law 2/2015; which grants a residence to a citizen who has sold his house and has paid the whole loan given by the Credit Bank of Kuwait (CBK); only once, provided that the unit will used or leased for him and his family.
The awarding affirms the authority commitment to executing the housing scheme for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. The land specialized for the project was handed over by the municipality in the end of 2016.
The PAHW said it had, immediately after receiving the plot of land, started designing the venture. (end) fnk.rk
