Explosion in Austin, Texas seriously wounds two people

WASHINGTON, March 19 (KUNA) -- Up to two people were seriously injured in an explosion in Austin, Texas but it was not clear what caused the explosion, it was reported late Sunday.
According to the Austin Police, the streets leading into the neighborhood where the explosion occurred have been taped off, where the neighbors are told to stay inside and not to touch anything that looks suspicious or go near it.
Austin Police Chief Brian Manley told reporters "given the darkness, we have not really had the opportunity to really look at this blast site to determine what has happened." It is unknown if the explosion is related to the three explosion attacks in Austin last week that killed two people and wounded one.
Earlier today, a reward of USD 115,000 was put out for any information leading to those responsible for previous three package explosions. (end) si.hb
