CAIRO, March 18 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi Sunday lauded Egyptian-UAE relations as a model of strategic constructive cooperation among Arab countries.
The Egyptian president made the remark while meeting visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, stressing interest in promoting and strengthening bilateral relations at all levels, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radhi said in a press statement.
During the meeting, Al-Sisi underlined the significance of continuing talks between Cairo and Abu Dhabi on various regional issues and crises in several regional countries, together with the best way to handle them, the spokesman said.
He quoted the UAE minister as boasting his country's relations with Egypt, and reiterating eagerness to cement aspects of bilateral cooperation and to pursue intensive consolations on different issues of mutual interest.
Both sides also discussed during the meeting ways of consolidating cooperative relations in economic and investment domains, as well as the latest regional developments, the spokesman added. (end) asm.mt
