NATO regional center hosts Kuwaiti diplomats from Saud Al-Sabah institute

KUWAIT, March 14 (KUNA) -- The North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) Regional Center in Kuwait hosted on Wednesday a delegation of the 6th training batch of Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, affiliated with Foreign Ministry.
The delegation paid a tour to the center and attended a lecture on cooperation between the two sides began in 2004, Kuwait National Security Apparatus' (NSA) public relations department said in a statement.
The center's head Fawwaz Al-Othman expressed his delight for hosting the institute's staff for the first time since the establishment of the center in September 2017, the statement added.
During the visit, director of the institute Ambasador Abdulaziz Al-Sharekh lauded efforts made by the NSA aiming to promote and develop between Kuwait and NATO, it noted.
The presence of center in Kuwait shows the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and the organization, it made clear. (end) ays.fsh.hm
