Cypriot pres. hails relations with Kuwait

KUWAIT, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, stressed Wednesday depth of relations between Kuwait and Cyprus.
This came during newly re-elected Anastasiades's meeting with Honorary Consul-General of the Republic of Cyprus in Kuwait Fahad Al-Mujil, to congratulate him on his re-election as President of the Republic of Cyprus.
Al-Mujil told KUNA that the Cypriot president expressed his aspiration to promote and develop relations with Kuwait in all fields.
President Anastasiades, on his part, expressed his sincere congratulations to the leadership, government and people of Kuwait on national occasions, praising the good relations between the two countries, which are growing stronger over time.
Al-Mujil participated in the celebrations of the Kuwaiti embassy in Cyprus on Kuwait national days, which was attended by Speaker of the Cypriot Parliament and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. (end) asa.ss
