CAIRO, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Director of Kuwait moderation promotion center Abdullah Al-Shurayka said Tuesday State of Kuwait was keen on boosting culture of moderation, peaceful co-existence and social security.
The State of Kuwait spares no effort in supporting any efforts contributing to fighting terrorism and uprooting its root causes, Al-Shurayka told KUNA following conclusion of the 28th International Conference of the Higher Council of Islamic Affairs.
He said researchers and experts from around the world participated in the conference, which discussed the creation and threats of terrorism, and importance of confronting them.
Al-Shurayka said the Kuwaiti delegation, led by undersecretary of Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Fareed Emadi, highlighted the country's counter-terrorism and moderation promotion experience.
He commended outcome of the conference, all aimed at protecting students and strengthening of the culture of moderation. (pickup previous)
