Saudi King approves orders to reshuffle senior posts

RIYADH, Feb 26 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud issued on Monday night a number of royal orders to reshuffle senior military, security and executive posts.
A royal order relieved Gen. Staff Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Bonyan of his post as Chief of Staff and appointed him as an advisor to the Royal Court.
Lt.-Gen. Staff Fayyad Hamed Al-Roweili was promoted to the rank of General Staff and appointed as Chief of the General Staff, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Maj.-Gen. Staff Motlaq bin Salem Al-Azeima' was promoted to the rank of Lt.-Gen. Staff and appointed as Vice Chief of General Staff.
Vice Air Marshal Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz was promoted to Air Marshal Staff and appointed as Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces.
Vice Air Marshal Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz was promoted to Air Marshal Staff and appointed as Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces.
Commander of the Land Forces Lt.-Gen. Staff Fahad bin Turki bin Abdulaziz was relieved of his post and appointed as Commander of the Combined Forces.

Maj.-Gen. Staff Jarallah bin Mohammad Al-Alawi was promoted to the rank of Lt.-Gen. Staff and appointed as Commander of the Strategic Missiles Forces.
Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Biyari was appointed as Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs.
Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Meshari Al Saud was named as Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs.
Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed as Consultant at the Royal Court.
Ibrahim bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sultan as advisor at the Royal Court.
Mohammad bin Mohanna bin Abdulaziz Almohanna replaced Hamad bin Khalaf Al-Rashid Al-Khalaf as undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for security affairs at the excellent rank.
Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan was appointed as Minister of State for African Countries Affairs with the rank of minister at the Foreign Ministry.
Prince Fahd bin Badr bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was relieved of his post as Governor of Al-Joaf Region and appointed as Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
