Kuwaiti oil price down by 62 cents to USD 60.80 pb

KUWAIT, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down to 62 cents to USD 60.80 per barrel Wednesday after it was at USD 61.42 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
The price at the global level was down due to last week's increase of exchange rate for the US Dollar and the increase of American crude's production.
The future contracts of the Brent crude went down by 48 cents to USD 64.77 per barrel, the same case with the American crude, which went down by 60 cents to USD 61.19 pb. (end) mam.gta
