KUWAIT, Feb 21 (KUNA) -- Selling at KD 8 to 15 a kilo, desert truffles imported from Libya and Tunisia had been dominating the local agriculture market with the product being highly demanded by citizens.
Due to the lack of rainfall in the region, the market lacked desert truffles from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
The price will be lowered as imports from Iran, Algeria, and Morocco arrive in Kuwait. (end) ga.gta
