ABU DHABI, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad Al Nahyan discussed on Monday with visiting US lawmakers, headed by Senator Richard Burr cooperation and bilateral relations.
UAE news agency (WAM) said the two sides reviewed current issues and developments in the region and their joint efforts to combat extremism, terrorism and violence, and their role in establishing security and stability in the Middle East.
The meeting tackled the strategic relations and partnership between UAE and US in various fields, and the two countries leaders' efforts to promote them and invest all opportunities available to serve mutual interests.
Burr, is a US Senator of North Carolina, and Chairman of the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. (end)
