On-going Sinai anti-terror operation results 7 terrorists deaths

CAIRO, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Seven terrorists were killed while eight locations used by terror elements were completely destroyed by the army within the Comprehensive Military Operation of Sinai 2018, said a statement by the armed forces Saturday.
The statement indicated that 408 suspects were arrested in the operations, adding that 158 hideouts were destroyed while a large number of equipment, weapon caches, and vehicles were confiscated.
The Egyptian military and armed forces launched on February ninth an anti-terror operation aimed at ridding the Sinai Peninsula from terror elements. (end) rg.gta
