MAKKAH, Feb 7 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of Kuwait's Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Farid Emadi lauded Wednesday Saudi Arabia's efforts to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season through continued major expansion projects for the Two Holy Mosques.
Emadi made his remarks while meeting with Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat in the holy city of Makkah, praising the deep brotherly relationship between the two countries.
He also valued the Saudi Hajj and Umrah ministry's efforts, alongside various state and private bodies in the Kingdom, in making early preparations for this year's Hajj season.
Such efforts boost cooperation and integration toward supporting the religion of Islam and backing Muslims, added the Kuwaiti senior official.
For his part, Mashat said his country's service and support of pilgrims is part of its solid principles and righteous approach, affirming the Kingdom's keenness in recruiting all its human and technical capacities to continue its pioneering tradition of serving pilgrims and visitors. (end) nsa.ma
