KUWAIT, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti citizen Faleh Al-Azmi, who was released by Iranian authorities, has returned home and is in a good condition, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Sami Al-Hamad said Tuesday.
Kuwaiti diplomats received Al-Azmi yesterday morning following his release, Al-Hamad told reporters after receiving the national at Kuwait Airport.
The foreign ministry exerted every possible effort to secure the release of Al-Azmi, who was held in captivity for months, he said.
Al-Azmi was arrested last September when he mistakenly entered a military zone on his way back to Kuwait from Turkey. (end)
