Saudi Arabia condemns hotel attack in Kabul

RIYADH, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia Monday condemned a recent attack on a hotel in the Afghan capital, Kabul, an official source said.
The source of the Saudi Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the Kingdom's condemnation of the attack that targeted a hotel in Kabul on Saturday, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The source reiterated the Kingdom's solidarity with sisterly and friendly countries against terrorism and extremism, it added.
At least 18 people, including 14 foreigners, were killed in an attack on Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul on Saturday. Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. (end) ad.mt
