MARRAKECH, Jan 20 (KUNA) -- A group of Kuwaiti female well-achieving students concluded their trip to Morocco organized by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
The group visited Tahannaout village located in the heart of Atlas Mountains near Marrakesh.
During their visit to one of the famous farms in Tahannaout, students learned about Moroccan culinary art and how the most famous Moroccan dishes are prepared.
In regards to the students' impression of their trip and the contribution of KFAED abroad, they said it was an excellent experience that enabled them to appreciate efforts made by the State of Kuwait for other countries.
Nujood Bilal, a participant in the trip, said she was proud of the role of Kuwait in improving other countries' economies, while Sheikha Al-Hajri said this experience contributed in enriching her knowledge about other nations.
Meanwhile, Amal Al-Subaie, Jumanaa Abdulwahab and Reem Al-Awadhi thanked KFAED and the Ministry of Education for organizing the trip that left all participant with valuable information.
The well-achievers group will depart Morocco Saturday after spending a week, during which they visited a number of projects funded by KFAED and toured several historical and touristic sites in the cities of Rabat, Tangier and Marrakech. (end) bmh.nhq
