Lebanon to take all measures against Israel's border wall

BEIRUT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Defense Council decided Friday to take "all tools and measures" to prevent Israel from building a separation in areas at the southern borders.
Lebanon voices reservations over the wall that Israel plans to build on 13 positions, which were violated by Israel in line with UN resolution 1701, the council said in a statement.
Lebanon, it added, would take all measures to prevent the further violation of the UN resolution.
The council meeting was attended by Prime Minister Saad Hariri and senior officers from the army and security authorities.
Lebanese President Michel Aoun warned earlier today from the ramifications of the Israeli wall on efforts of the UN and Lebanese army forces to restoring security and stability at the southern borders. (end) wsm.bs
