KUWAIT, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has won the 2017 exploration and production award of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The winning of the IFC's award for this year is deemed a scientific achievement added to the KOC's list of accomplishments, the company said in a press statement on Friday.
It added that it had received the prize during a ceremony organized in Dubai, UAE, on Thursday.
The award was delivered to the KOC's Public Relations and Information Group Manager Mohammad Al-Basri during the annual event, according to the statement.
The IFC's annual awards are given to the best performing companies across the world, it added. (end)
