Egypt's top lawmaker heaps praise upon His Highness Amir, speaker Al-Ghanim

CAIRO, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- Speaker of the Egyptian parliament Dr. Ali Abdelal on Tuesday highly admired His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's efforts to establish peace in the Arab world and resolve differences among Arab countries.
Speaker Abdelal made the statement in end of a meeting with his visiting Kuwaiti counterpart, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, and the accompanying delegation.
Egypt and Kuwait are Arab states; bonded with brotherly and historic links, he said, adding that the two countries are in full harmony on political and economic issues of joint interest, stressing on maintaining continuous coordination toward issues such as peace and combating terrorism.
He also spoke highly of speaker Al-Ghanim, as a "successful young diplomat," quite dynamic at regional and international quarters. (end) ms.rk
