Kuwait Air Show 2018 kicks off Wed.

KUWAIT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Air Show 2018 is set to open on Wednesday at Kuwait International Airport, with the participation of over 125 local and international civil and military aviation companies.
The exhibition, held under His Highness the Amir's patronage, will feature planes for commercial use, business people, air ambulances and helicopters, in addition to engines and navigation equipment.
The four-day event aims to allow Kuwait to become a top competitor in the Middle East's aviation sector, through attracting foreign investors as part of the "New Kuwait vision 2035." The show will also include seminars, information on regional projects and aerial shows.
The first day of the show will be for VIPs, the second for ministries, governmental bodies and companies, while the third and fourth are for the public.
The International Civil Aviation Organization had recently announced that the Middle East region achieved the highest percentage of aviation growth on a global level for the fifth time in a row.
Meanwhile, US Boeing Company affirmed that the Gulf region has become a vital center for international aviation companies. (end) aam.ht.amh.ag
