His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
KUWAIT, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Monday sent cables of condolences to Iraqi President Fuad Masoum and Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi over the victims of a twin suicide attack in Baghdad.
In the cables, His Highness the Amir voiced sharp condemnation of this terrorist cowardly act that targets innocents and disrupts Iraqi security and stability.
His Highness the Amir reiterated Kuwait's principled stand that decries all manifestations and forms of terrorism, and stands side by side with this sisterly country in all security measures it is taking to fight such criminal acts.
His Highness the Amir also wished mercy to the deceased and swift recovery to the injured.
More cables of similar sentiments were sent by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to the Iraqi president and prime minister. (end)
