KUWAIT, Dec 7 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Sport (PAS) Women's Committee is keen to enhance sports activities for working ladies, an official has said.
Chair of the Committee, Hind Al-Hazzaa, who also heads the Ministries' Soccer League for Women, said in a press statement Thursday the Women's Bowling League that will kick off on Monday ushers in the 2017-2018 competitions, with the participation of 30 bowlers from six government agencies.
The season's agenda also comprises table tennis, billiards and speedball competitions, besides mind games, she noted.
The committee is so eager to offer working women at ministries and other government agencies the chance to practice sports, Al-Hazzaa said.
She noted that women sports have witnessed remarkable progress. (end)
