Schools in some areas to close during 38th GCC Summit

KUWAIT, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Schools in some areas will close tomorrow during the 38th Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) Summit on December 5-6, said a statement by the Ministry of Education Monday.
In a press release, the ministry said that schools in Farwaniyah, Hawalli, and the capital educational districts will be closed due to the holding of the summit.
The closure might be extend to Wednesday to prevent traffic congestions, said the ministry.
Meanwhile, the Health and Interior Ministries released statements, expressing their readiness during the course of the summit. (end) jy.ays.gta
