TEHRAN, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- Iran's Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said Wednesday that US President Donald Trump's call to boycott Iranian crude oil has not had an affect on the country's exports, official media reported.
Such calls have no effect on the volume of Iranian oil exports, Zangeneh told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
"Trump wrote in a statement issued on November 18 that because there is enough supply of oil from other countries; it is possible to limit the purchase of oil and its derivatives from Iran," said IRNA.
Meanwhile, Zangeneh affirmed his country is moving on with exporting oil without troubles, denying recent reports on India's reduction of Iranian oil imports.
New Delhi has recently lost its bid to seal a lucrative deal with Tehran on development of the Farzad-B gas field.
India still buys oil from Iran, the Iranian minister affirmed. (end) mw.ma
