At least 3 killed in N. California school shooting

WASHINGTON, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- At least three people were killed, including a six-year-old girl, following a mass shooting inside a school in Northern California on Tuesday.
Authorities say the gunman was killed by police after the attack inside the school located in Rancho Tehama, about 120 miles northwest of Sacramento. While the exact numbers of those injured are yet to be available, witnesses reported hearing between 90-100 shots fired inside the school building. Several of those injured, including students, were reportedly airlifted from the scene.
The school shooting comes less than two weeks after a gunman in Texas opened fire inside a Baptist Church, killing 26 people. In October, the deadliest gun massacre in US history occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada, when a shooter targeted an outdoor music festival, leaving 59 people dead and more than 500 injured. (end) hy.hb
