VIENNA, Oct 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajeri has provided Moldovan President Igor Dodon with a copy of his credentials as a non-resident envoy to the eastern European nation.
Speaking to KUNA after a ceremony to usher him to his new post, where a bevy of Moldovan officials were in attendance, Al-Hajeri conveyed the Kuwaiti leadership's warm greetings to Chisinau.
On his talks with the Moldovan president, he said they focused on bilateral ties and strategies to bring both nations closer together.
Al-Hajeri is the first non-resident ambassador to Moldova by way of neighboring Romania.
The Kuwaiti diplomat also pointed out that Moldovan officials highly encourage Kuwaiti businessmen to invest in their country. (end) amk.nam
