Kuwaiti FM receives new envoys' credentials

KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Sunday credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom and North Ireland Michael Davenport.
During the meeting, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled expressed good wishes to the UK ambassador and hoped for closer cooperation and relations between Kuwait and the UK.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also received credentials of the newly appointed Czech Ambassador to Kuwait Martin Dvorak.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Deputy Foreign Minister's Protocols Ambassador Dhari Al-Ajran, and several other senior officials of the Foreign Ministry. (end) haq
