NEW YORK, Sept 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has reiterated support to UN efforts to restore security and stability in Libya, through a political solution for the conflict in the North African nation.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made the remarks during a meeting with Ghassan Salama, UN's special envoy to Libya, on sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 72), was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's Office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Mansour Al-Otaibi and Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Nasser Al-Hayyen.
