Amiri envoy arrives in Iran for Rouhani's inauguration

TEHRAN, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Yousif Al-Ibrahim arrived in Iran on Saturday, to attend a ceremony where President Hassan Rouhani will take the oath of office in the parliament, for his second term of presidency. Al-Ibrahim, also Amiri Diwan Advisor will be accompanied by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iran Majdi Al-Dhafeeri during the event.
Rouhani sworn in for his second presidency term last Thursday in front of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khamanei.
In May's presidential elections, Rouhani garnered more than 22 million votes out of almost 40 million casted. (end) mw.ag
