KUWAIT, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Minister of Health Dr. Jamal Al-Harbi on Tuesday affirmed his keenness on providing all needed care for citizens seeking medical care abroad and taking into consideration their proposals and ideas in this respect.
Minister Al-Harbi, in a statement to KUNA ahead of a planned official visit to the United States of America, said he would inspect the Kuwaiti health office in Washington and a number of American hospitals and medical centers.
Al-Harbi, due to fly to the US later today, said he would meet Kuwaiti patients undergoing treatment and ask them about treatment they get from the Kuwaiti medical offices.
He will also examine the offices' technical conditions, their contracts with local hospitals, medical centers and other matters.
Al-Harbi, before his appointment as minister of health, had visited the Kuwaiti health offices in the UK, France and Germany. (end) bmj.rk
