KUNA launches "click" photography contest

KUWAIT, July 8 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) will launch "click" photography contest Sunday to allow amateur and professional photographers to add their photos to the agency's website.
Participants can apply and send their information including full name, phone number, and email, by clicking on the "click" logo on KUNA's official website.
The pictures must be in (jpg-jpeg) format, of middle to high quality and do not exceed 24 mega pixel. They should also be taken in Kuwait no more than a year ago and preferably being horizontal.
Participating works should show beauty aspects of Kuwait and the country's culture and history, with a comment added to tell the story behind the picture.
It is also required that pictures would not be digitally modified, and had not been previously published in local or international media and exhibitions, except for being published on the photographer's own social media account.
Photographers are allowed to edit the picture's brightness and colors and they can also turn colored photos into black and white ones, while adding the original one along with their modified work.
Participants must be 21 years old and above. They do not own the right or request money for publishing their work. Photos published on KUNA's website can also be used by other media under KUNA's name. (end) ag
