Palestinian group shot, injure securty forces in refugee camp in Lebanon

BEIRUT, April 7 (KUNA)-- The Palestinian Ein Al-Helweh refugee camp witnessed heightened security tension on Friday after gunmen opened fire at a Palestinian patrol injuring three personnel, a security source said.
Gunmen of the so-called "Belal Bader" group opened fire at the joint security force, formed to restore order in the camp, in the Foqani neighborhood and injured three of them, the source told KUNA.
Ein Al-Helweh camp was a scene of clashes few weeks ago between Belel Bader group and the gunmen of the reform faction of Fatah movement, killing and injuring people from both sides.
Belal Bader, the person, had asked for money in return providing security in Teiri neighborhood his men control. The joint security force refused to pay and asked him to surrender because he was wanted by the Lebanese state, as well as habroding criminals.
Ein Al-Helweh is one of the largest Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. The camp witnessed sporadic clashes which caused casualties. (end) ff.bs
