JEDDAH, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- The organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned Friday the terrorist bombing in Al-Bayaa district in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which resulted in the death of over 50 people.
Secretary General of the OIC Youssef bin Al-Ottaimeen deplored this act of terror that was aimed at destabilizing Iraq, expressing solidarity with the victims of the attack.
According to an Iraqi security source yesterday, a car, which was parked on side of a road in the district, ripped through nearby car sale exhibitions. At least 49 people were also wounded in the fiery explosion. (end) nh.gta
