Yemen's Ansarullah escalate ceasefire violations in 24 hrs. - Command

JEDDAH, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- The Command of the Coalition Forces Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen announced Friday that the number of ceasefire violations by Ansarullah militias and their supporters increased significantly in the last 24 hours, official media reported.
The number of violations has reached 124 in Jizan region and 81 in Najran province, the command said in a statement, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The number of ceasefire violations inside the Yemeni borders reached 692, including 124 in Marib, 24 in Shabwa, 265 in Taiz, 44 in Dhale, 48 Hajjah, 116 in Al-Jawf, 25 in Sanaa, 41 in Al-Baydha, and five in Aden, it added.
The command also mentioned that Ansarullah used snipers and various weapons such as missiles and projectiles, adding that the coalition forces had repelled several sources of fire in accordance with the approved rules of engagement.
It reiterated its forces' commitment to the policy of self-restraint towards these violations. (end) nh.ma
