KUWAIT, Oct 15 (KUNA) -- Firemen are currently battling fires raging at three warehouses including electrical, electronic appliances and weddings' accessories in Al-Shuwaikh district, the fire department said on Saturday.
The firemen are acting rapidly trying to isolate the blazes, said Khaled Al-Mekrad, the general director of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, in a statement to KUNA, indicating that they are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby stores.
The blazes are raging within a 4,000-sq-m location, he said.
There have been no reports about injuries. (end)
