KUWAIT, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah said Monday his country is ready to receive the Yemeni stakeholders if they are willing to reach deal and break the political stalemate.
"The State of Kuwait has always been supportive of all efforts aiming to resolve the Yemeni crisis peacefully, including the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," he affirmed.
He was referring to a recent report by the Iranian Fars news agency that the Kuwaiti and Saudi stances on Yemen are different.
Al-Jarallah made the press remarks during a celebration at China embassy this evening to celebrate the National Day of the People's Republic of China.
Kuwait hosted the first round of the UN-sponsored intra-Yemeni peace talks between April 21 and August 6. (end)
