TEHRAN, July 2 (KUNA) -- A student pilot was killed and his instructor was wounded in a trainer plane crash, west of the Iranian capital of Tehran, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Saturday.
"Iran Air" plane, belonging to an aviation training center, crashed into farmlands close to the town of Nazarabad, west of Tehran, a provincial Red Crescent Society official Davood Rajabi told IRNA.
Civil Aviation Organization sent out a team to the crash location to investigate the incident. (end)
