Kuwaiti embassy in Thailand monitors citizen's death

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador in Thailand Abdullah Al-Sharhan said on Saturday the embassy was closely monitoring the killing of a Kuwaiti citizen in a bloody brawl in the Thai tourist city of Pattaya.
The ambassador told KUNA by phone that the Kuwaiti citizen died of wounds he sustained in a knife fight.
Another Kuwaiti citizen was also wounded in the quarrel, he said, adding that he has received necessary medical treatment and has been already discharged from hospital.
The police have arrested two stateless persons involved in the stabbing of the Kuwaiti citizen to death, he noted. (end) aab.mt
