Int'l coalition airstrikes kill 30 IS militants in Mosul

IBRIL, April 9 (KUNA) -- At least 30 militants of the so-called Islamic State (IS) group were killed in a series of international coalition airstrikes on two IS sites south of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
In a press statement, Nineveh Operations Command stated that two airstrikes on an IS defensive fence in Al-Haj, south of Mosul, killed over 20 militants and pulverized the base.
10 other IS militants were killed when coalition jetfighters pounded another site in Al-Mahanna district, south of Mosul. (end) sbr.ibi
