Pilot killed in Jordanian military plane crash

AMMAN, March 31 (KUNA) -- Jordanian authorities announced on Thursday that a military plane crashed during a routine military drill, killing its pilot and injuring another in the third such incident this year.
"A military aircraft has crashed during a military exercise this morning, which resulted in the death of the pilot, Muath Mohammad bin Faris," a military source said in a press statement.
On February 3, a pilot was killed in a deadly helicopter crash, while on March 21, a military plane crashed, resulting in no casualties. (end) ab.nam
