RIYADH, March 26 (KUNA) -- Chiefs of Staff of the Islamic Military Coalition will meet, in Riyadh, on Sunday to mull multi-faceted strategies for combatting terror threats.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Saturday that the meeting, the first of its kind, will focus on coordinating efforts and working out military, intellectual, financial and media strategies to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.
It noted that Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defense Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz announced last December the creation of the coalition to fight terrorism, which has badly affected the Islamic world, and the whole world.
The coalition has begun with establishing Center for Islamic Military Coalition, in Riyadh, in order to develop techniques and plans to fight terrorism, in the Islamic world and to coordinate efforts exerted by member states to consolidate their capabilities to fight terrorism and any other threats that might destabilize security, in Islamic world countries.
